Association of Producers of Medicinal Plants

The Carabotija Women's Group was founded in the Province of Pichincha-Cayambe 10 years ago. These women work in the traditional production and marketing of aromatic and medicinal plants. This approach guarantees the continuance and conservation of the regions natural resources.

The women's group is made up by 16 partners conducting all production and processing activities.

Products

We manufacture the following spices: Oregano (Origanum vulgare) , lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) , camomile (Matricaria chamomile) , spearmint (Menta piperita) , garden rue (Ruta graveolens) , rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) , dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) , peppermint (Menta sativa) , plantain (Plantago major) , linden (Tilia europaea) , matico (Pipero angustifolium lam).
